Cottingley Hall is situated in the pleasant and leafy semi-rural suburb of Bingley, near Bradford. Once a private house and now converted to offer a peaceful, calming environment where residents can relax and enjoy their surroundings. Cottingley Hall is easily accessible from Bradford, Bingley and Shipley.
The care we offer
The home offers nursing and residential care, convalescence, care for those with Parkinson's disease - along with respite for those requiring a short term stay. Cottingley Hall also provides care to older people with physical disabilities and to those with palliative or terminal care needs. We employ dedicated, well trained staff to provide 24-hour care in a professional and respectful way.
Food
Mealtimes are an important part of each day at Cottingley Hall. Our chef ensures that there are delicious, nutritious menus with a hot and cold choice available to suit all tastes. Residents can choose to eat in the traditional dining room with others, or in the privacy of their own room if they would prefer.
Residents' birthdays are a special event. We always ensure that on the day they receive a meal of their choice and a personalised birthday cake.
Friends and family are always most welcome to come and join residents for meals if they wish to, for a small fee.
Activities
The home's dedicated activity co-ordinator plans regular activities including music, gardening, crafts, and reminiscence therapy. The home is also involved in the local community. There are excursions to nearby attractions such as Salt's Mill and Ilkley, and family and friends are always welcome on these trips.
