Copwood is a spacious 6 bedroom property situated on the outskirts of Bradford, with proximity to local shops, parks and open countryside. Copwood has been designed to cater for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism who require a short break with specialised support facilities.
The property comprises of two dining areas, spacious lounge area, a kitchen, a fully adapted bathroom and wetroom, an enclosed private garden and a fully equipped sensory room for those who want to relax in the quiet.
Service users are supported to access a range of activities of their choosing both in the property and in the local community; recent activities have included trips to the theatre, the Imax Cinema, Ten Pin Bowling and the seaside.
Everyone has their own person centred plan to ensure that they get the most out of their stay, for example working towards gaining increased independence and using local community leisure resources.
