ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - COPPICE CARE
At Coppice Care we have created an innovative, purpose-built residential development for people aged 18-65 years old with learning disabilities, including challenging behaviour. We are able to support people who may also have a physical disability or who have an acquired brain injury.
Located in the small West Sussex town of Burgess Hill, just 5 miles from the beautiful South Downs National Park, our development of four fully wheelchair-accessible bungalows offers 16 service users a residential setting of the highest quality.
Quality and dignity are at the heart of our person-centred care and we promote a culture of service user empowerment, choice and respect. Our aim is to support service users in achieving their goals and greater independence.
Our service offers individuals the opportunity to build life skills, social skills and confidence through daily routines and interaction with other service users and staff within our Coppice Care community.
At the same time, service users benefit from easy access to a wide range of community-based educational, work and leisure opportunities to help support their progress.
As well as sharing in the daily life of our Coppice Care community, and the wider community of which we are a part, service users are also able to enjoy the privacy and personal space provided by their own en suite bedroom.
Within the safe, supportive residential environment we provide at Coppice Care, service users are able to move forward, at a pace and in the way that best suits them.
