ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - COPPER HILL RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
Copper Hill is a modern, purpose-built care community, located in Hunslet, a residential area of South East Leeds.Copper Hill is made up of five separate houses and offers a wide range of elderly care from residential to nursing dementia care. This means that as our residents' care needs change, their location doesn't have to.
The care we offer
At Copperhill we offer a range of care services including nursing, residential, respite, palliative and specialist care for those living with dementia. We are also able to offer a day care service.
Food
Meals are an important part of the day at Copper Hill. The chef creates a wide range of balanced, nutritious dishes, prepared daily using only the freshest produce.
Residents can choose to enjoy sociable mealtimes in the traditional dining rooms, or in their own rooms if they prefer. On warmer days residents can choose to eat outside in the gardens if they wish. Friends and relatives are also most welcome to join residents for meals.
We make sure that on their birthdays each resident receives a celebratory meal and a personalised, homemade cake to make their day extra special.
Activities
Residents can take part in quizzes, games, craft mornings, motivational exercise classes and reminiscence sessions. Or they can continue to enjoy their own established hobbies. Keen gardeners can participate in gardening at the home. Many residents also enjoy the local entertainers, such as singers and brass bands, who visit regularly. There are trips out to local places of interest such as the Royal Armouries, or to garden centres and even the local pub for lunch.
