ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - CHURCH FARM RESIDENTIAL HOME
Church Farm is a converted farm house located in the small seaside village of East Wittering, close to picturesque Chichester.
The care we offer
We offer several types of stay depending on the level of support required – from long term care, residential care, to respite and day care facilities. We also offer convalescence, and palliative care., and care for those with Parkinson’s disease.
Each resident has their own key carer. They will take time to get to know them, their background, interests, tastes and care needs in line with their personal care plan.
Food
Meals are an important part of the day at Church Farm and our chef creates a wide range of balanced, nutritious dishes, prepared daily using fresh produce. All our menus are nutritionally checked, and our chef caters for all tastes and diets.
We make sure that we celebrate each resident birthday with a celebratory meal and a personalised cake to make their day extra special.
Activities
At Church Farm, our dedicated activity co-ordinator ensures there’s always something enjoyable to do for residents of all abilities – from bingo and film afternoons to gentle keep fit classes. We also arrange special events in the home which take place every month and can range from summer fetes and garden parties to celebrations at Christmas and Easter.
We’re visited frequently by local entertainers as well as a mobile library service. Activities don’t just take place in the home - we organise visits to local garden centres and sometimes to the seaside or to do a spot of shopping. Friends and relatives are welcome to join us on these trips if they wish.
