Chelmsford Nursing Home delivers expert palliative care, dementia care, residential care, nursing care and respite care. We provide a comfortable and secure environment where people can feel at home. We offer the highest standard of care and access to a variety of services, activities and facilities designed to support people to increase independence and enrich their lives. Our aim is to provide care and support for people in a manner that puts dignity and respect at the forefront of everything we do.
At Chelmsford Nursing Home we deliver a structured care programme in a safe, secure and comfortable environment. We aim to provide improved health and improved quality of life to everyone who stays with us and support them to maintain choice and control over their lives.
We believe that leisure and social activities form a central part of people’s happiness, health and wellbeing. We offer a range of activities, including regular trips out into the community and nearby care homes in our own minibus, quiz nights, visits to garden centres, cheese and wine afternoons, pampering sessions and aromatherapy sessions. A mobile library regularly visits the home and we have a reminiscence computer and a specially-designed multisensory room. Chelmsford Nursing Home has good links with the local community, local residents associations, local schools and parishes
We provide wholesome, home-cooked meals daily and happily accommodate all dietary preferences and requirements. Room service is also available. Beverages are always readily available and visitors are welcome to join us for meals. Meals may be served outside on a nice day and assistance with feeding is available.
