About Cedar Court
Cedar Court Nursing Home is owned by Your Health Limited. Cedar Court Nursing Home is located in Bretby, near to Burton on Trent and Swadlincote, and provides nursing and personal care for up to 30 older people and younger adults with physical disabilities.
Our aim at Cedar Court Care Home is to provide a high standard of care in a relaxed, friendly environment. We ensure that residents are able to still enjoy the freedom and lifestyle they have grown accustomed to, whilst receiving care that is appropriate to their needs yet unobtrusive.
Cedar Court comprises of two separate divisions, Nursing and Dementia Care. The General Nursing Home is registered for 30 residents and cares specifically for the frail and elderly. The Dementia Care Home is registered for 50 residents and specialises in the care and protection of people suffering from all forms of Dementia and other mental illnesses.
Location
Conveniently situated on the edge of the National Forest within landscaped parkland, Cedar Court enjoys an enviable rural location. Set in the beautiful countryside of South Derbyshire.
Visiting
Family members and friends are welcome to visit as and when they wish. Drinks and snacks are always available and we are happy to provide meals for visitors by prior arrangement.
The Home and Grounds
This period property of character, midst the beautiful Bretby Park, has been completely renovated and refurbished. Cedar Court is surrounded by beautiful parkland and many of our more able residents enjoy a pleasant walk through the tranquil English countryside.
The Home has secluded gardens for each unit. The General unit has an enclosed garden with a pond, greenhouse and raised flower beds as well as several seating areas for the residents to enjoy. The Dementia Care unit has a beautiful garden which is specifically designed for people suffering from Dementia and includes a water feature and seating areas.
