179 Green Lanes is a residential care home that offers housing, support and mental health nursing for up to five females who have a range of needs including learning disabilities and a past or present experience of mental ill health.
Green Lane is a specialist residential service for women with mental health needs, learning disabilities and associated complex needs including challenging behaviour.
Service users are supported to develop individualised person centred plans and positive behaviour support plans that promote increased choice, control over their lives and independence, whilst focusing on recovery and relapse prevention.
Our experienced team works in partnership with families, carers, advocates and public service professionals to ensure that the support provided is pro-active and appropriate.
We follow an active, person centred approach which supports service users to make choices and achieve their planned outcomes.
We work closely with community teams to ensure that tenants continue to access key services and appointments, and this close working relationship enables us to focus on increased independence and recovery for service users who have mental health needs.
We actively encourage personalisation and welcome enquiries and self referrals from service users and their supporters in addition to referrals from local authority teams.
