ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BROWNS FIELD HOUSE
Browns Field House is a purpose built residential dementia care home for 27 older people. The home is situated in a quiet residential area of Cambridge which is close to the loacal amenities such as shops,post office and pub that serves food, there is also a very good reliable bus service which goes directly into the town centre which offers many tourist attarctions from resteraunts and museums and the all of the local collages. Residents at Brownsfield house have access to a range of communal areas within the house from the lounge where they can enjoy taking part in the daily activities or just have a chat while enjoying a cup of tea or a small sherry, there is also the dining room where they can sit down and enjoy a home cooked meal where we also have the facility for residents to have guest join them for lunch in a small private area in the home we just need 24hours notice. Brownsfield house also has a small number of in house facilitys for the residents to use ranging from a post office to a sweet shop and a small toiletries shop where residents are able to purchase small items.
