ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BRIARDENE
Briardene care home provides care for up to 13 people with a learning disability. The home comprises of 13 bedrooms, two communal lounges, two kitchens and a dining room. The home is situated in the centre of Harrogate town centre. The home is owned by Appleview Homes Limited.
Apple Homes aims to provide long term care and support for young adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, sensory and communications impairment and challenging behaviour in the community.
Based in Harrogate district we offer both residential care services and personal care or domiciliary care services to our client group in their own home.
The management is committed to providing high quality care and support to nurture the natural development of independence for Apple Homes clients. To achieve this, the individual needs and desires of each client will be assessed continuously and staff training will reflect those needs. Our client’s rights in particular in relation to privacy, dignity, independence, security, civil rights, choice, fulfilment and diversity are an important part of our philosophies of care.
