ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BRANDON PARK RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME

Enjoy a taste of 19th Century style in this wonderful converted Grade II listed house in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Brandon Park is a warm and friendly care home offering a combination of period elegance and modern, professional care.

The care we offer

We offer several types of stay depending on the level of support required, from short term, respite or convalescence to long term and nursing care. We also offer palliative care and care for people with Parkinson’s disease. Brandon Park's experienced home manager and team of qualified nurses and carers are all highly experienced in looking after older people, and we also offer our staff plenty of specialist training.

Food

Our experienced chef prepares a wide range of balanced, nutritious dishes daily, using fresh produce, and visits each resident shortly after they arrive to discuss any special requirements they may have. Residents can choose where they eat, either in the main dining room, in he gardens in warmer weather or in the privacy of their own room. A Night Bite menu is available for those who need to eat between 6.30pm and 6.30am. Wine and beer is also available with main meals and on special occasions for those who enjoy the odd tipple.

Activities

We make sure that there is always something stimulating and interesting to do at Brandon Park - from quizzes and arts and crafts to games afternoons. Local entertainers give regular performances and we arrange outings that include river cruises, shopping trips and pub lunches in town. There are regular themed activities each month – such as Burns Night and Pancake Day to name just a few. All residents along with their friends and family are encouraged to take part.
