ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BRADBURY HOME
Bradbury aims to provide accommodation and care for the older person in a safe environment and a happy and friendly atmosphere, realised in a Christian setting.
The care home was built in 1992 and offers excellent accommodation in its design award building. The centre comprises 34 single ensuite bedrooms. There are three floors, and there is a lounge and kitchenette at each level. Two passenger lifts give access to all floors. There is a hairdressing room, and the resident’s coiffures reflect good use of this area. The call system provides points of contact in every room in the centre. The sheltered garden has a patio with setting. There are activities such as quizzes and games along with sing songs with visiting singers and groups.
We offer individual care plans that meet the needs of each person and promote personal independence as much as is practical for each resident in their interests and pattern of life. We continue to include their families and friends as much as possible in their daily life, and to support them in times of change.We foster to Christian ideals within our residents and staff that are inclusive of diversity, acknowledging, race colour, creed, gender, and age. We also provide spiritual stimulus in worship that is ecumenical in style and in leadership.
Bradbury’s objective is to provide an enjoyable and stimulating environment which encourages each person to live life to the full.
