ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BICKLEIGH DOWN CARE HOME
Bickleigh Down Care Home is a purpose built care home located to the edges of Dartmoor and on the outskirts of Plymouth, South Devon. The home is part of the Four Seasons Health Care Group. The home provides nurisng and social care for up to 77 residents who have residential, nursing and dementia type illneses. The home is divided into Five units, three of which provide specialist dementia and mental health care.
Bickleigh Down is a 10 minute walk from local shops and amenities. There is a direct bus route to the city centre and over to Tavistock. We have pleasant grounds with local wild life and Deer are often seen in the car park and nearby street. We have two secure gardens one of which is a sensory garden where residents and staff have grown their own tomatoes, strawberries and lavender. The gardens can be enjoyed by the two conservatories in the winter months and the view of Dartmoor can be seen from our upstiars rooms and lounge areas.
