ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ANGLESEA HEIGHTS NURSING HOME
Anglesea Heights is situated in a quiet residential area of Ipswich, close to the town centre. A grand Victorian building comprising four modern, purpose-built houses make up the home, which is surrounded by mature landscaped gardens.
The care we offer
This home is well equipped to offer the highest standard of care to elderly residents. Our dedicated staff provide individual support according to each resident’s personal care plan.
We offer nursing, convalescence, palliative care and respite. We also specialise in the care of residents requiring nursing dementia care, those with Parkinson’s disease, people who have experienced a stroke, and people over 55 with physical disabilities.
Key features of Anglesea Heights
Each of the four houses are well-equipped, with their own facilities and team of specialist nursing staff. While the houses each have their own distinct character, they share a warm, homely and welcoming atmosphere.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms are attractively decorated to a high standard and are well furnished. They are designed for comfort and safety, with thermostatic radiators, smoke detectors and 24-hour call systems. Many rooms have delightful garden views and some have television and telephone points.
Home life
Residents can relax in our comfortable lounges – each house has its own. This is where daily activities sometimes take place, and where residents can socialise, entertain guests or simply watch television. A separate quiet lounge is available for reading and peaceful relaxation. The large, landscaped gardens have seating areas. One of the dementia houses has a sensory garden with a pond and beautiful water features.
