ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT
Alzheimer’s Support provides a range of practical services to enhance life and promote independence for those living with dementia in East and West Wiltshire, and for their family carers.
We are an independent charity and have been running for 24 years, growing to meet local demand.
Our services include day clubs open seven days a week and a home support service where a trained support worker visits your home. We also offer services for all the family such as Alzheimer cafes, Singing for the Brain, and art groups, and services designed to support carers, including monthly carers' groups and twice-yearly training courses.
We work in partnership with other organisations, give talks and campaign to raise awareness of dementia and the importance of a timely diagnosis. We also offer training to professionals who come across people living with dementia in the course of their word.
