Airedale has been tastefully converted from a former vicarage into a comfortable, well-equipped residence for the elderly. It is situated in the heart of Pudsey, Leeds.
Airedale Residential home welcomes residents for short or long-term stays. We provide residential care, as well as convalescent, palliative care and respite. Our Bupa staff are well trained, professional and respectful, and are dedicated to providing the very best standard of care for every resident.
Food
Meals are an enjoyable, sociable part of the day for Airedale residents. Appetising, balanced meals are prepared each day, using fresh ingredients. Residents can choose to eat in the dining room, or in their own bedroom if they prefer. All tastes, preferences and dietary needs are always catered for.
Activities
Every day there is always something interesting to do – from quizzes and bingo to board games, arts and crafts, and musical afternoons. Entertainers regularly visit and trips to local places of interest, such as the butterfly gardens or the garden centre, are arranged at least once a month.
Gardens
Airedale has a sensory garden with raised flowerbeds, and shaded areas with garden chairs. The furnished patio seating area has views over Pudsey Park. Residents love to sit here on warmer days, or help with some gentle gardening if they wish.
Places to relax
Airedale residents have a choice of three comfortable and well-furnished lounges. This is where they can catch up with friends, watch television, or take part in the daily activities. There is a quiet lounge for peaceful relaxation and also a well stocked library.
