ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - AGINCARE UK WORTHING
The Agincare Worthing office has been established in its current location since July 2008. The office looks over the main south coast rail line and also the local superstore Morrison’s. There is ample parking to the rear of the building, with Worthing central station, and the town centre both within a 10 minute walk from the office.
Acting Manager; Helen Gregory has worked within the social care setting for 12 years. Helen started as a carer and naturally progressed and went on to be a co-ordinator. Helen has achieved an NVQ 2 in team leading and consistently keeps all her mandatory training up to date. Helen also completes the reviews and risk assessments of new service users.
Co-Ordinator Tracey Finch; has worked in the social care sector for 5 years and has NVQ 2 in health & social care. Tracey has also completed the NCFE Dementia awareness training. Tracey made a natural progression from senior carer to Co-Oridinator. Tracey has also done 4 years volunteer work at St.Barnabus.
The main care team consists of 27 carers. Many of our carers are highly trained with NVQ level 2 or 3. All of the staff is updated yearly with the mandatory training medication, safeguarding, moving and handling and infection control. Many of the carers have also under taken some more specialists training such as dementia, end of life, multiple sclerosis.
