Surrounded by beautiful woodlands in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Acres Nook is a purpose built 72 bedded care home offering Dementia, Nursing, Respite care and care for young people with disabilities.
At HC-One our experienced Home Managers and members of staff ensure kindness is at the heart of everything we do.
Our Residents receive professional care delivered with thoughtfulness and respect, in a friendly, homely and supportive environment, where quality of life is paramount.
We understand that meals are a very important part of our Residents’ day, our menus cover a variety of choices for each meal and a choice of snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are also available 24 hours a day.

Hobbies and interests
Our Activities Co-ordinators spend time with Residents to ensure popular pastimes are included within the weekly activities calendar which is displayed in the home, this includes:
Arts and crafts
Quizzes
Professional entertainers
Animal therapy
Birthday celebrations
Themed cuisine
Church services
Coffee mornings
Seasonal and specialist events
We have regular outings to local places of interest including the park, local shopping facilities and points of interest.
Outdoor areas
The front courtyard is a perfect place to host outdoor events and activities during the summer months and the canopy areas complete with tables and chairs provide shaded areas.
Garden enthusiasts enjoy taking part in the activity projects which include helping to keep the outdoor area looking good.
