Abbeymoor Neurological Care Centre is part of the specialist brain injury directorate of The Huntercombe Group ( part of Four Seasons Healthcare)
Abbeymoor, situated in the village of Swalwell on the outskirts of Gateshead in Tyne & Wear, is a specialist residential home providing long term person centred care and support to male and female adults, aged 18 years and over with either a brain injury or complex neurological condition, with expertise in the management of Huntingtons Disease.
.Abbeymoor is located within walking distance of the Gateshead Metro Centre the largest shopping and leisure complex in the North of England and within easy access for Newcastle upon Tyne with its numerous shops and attractions.
We provide only the highest standards of care to our residents , person centred and tailored to their individual needs, in a friendly and homely atmosphere. We have a wide variation of conditions and it is important that the wishes and ideas from our residents are implemented and they are fully involved in the day to day functionality of Abbeymoor. It is their home and we are here to ensure everyone continues to enjoy their life experience.
In addition to our staff team we also have a therapy team who provide physiotherapy input and later in the year this will include Occupational Therapy.
