ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 35 LOWTHER ROAD
The staff team at 35 Lowther Road are fully trained and experienced in working with people with a range of complex needs associated with their learning disability, including autism, epilepsy, and Angelman’s Syndrome.
A person centred approach is an integral part of everyday life at 35 Lowther Road. We promote confidence and empowerment and ensure that individuals are encouraged and supported to lead active and fulfilling lifestyles. Each person is fully involved in the design and implementation of their unique support plan, which is tailored to meet their individual needs, goals and aspirations.
The service is a four bed detached house situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet residential area, approximately one mile from the centre of Bournemouth with its range of shops, leisure amenities and beaches.
The ground floor rooms, conservatory and garden are fully accessible to those with additional mobility needs. All four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (three first floor bedrooms, one ground floor) Complementary therapy, massage, arts, crafts, relaxation and sensory sessions are available in-house on a daily basis. The people we support access a variety of community based activities to support their development. There is a vehicle based at the house and good public transport networks close by.
