ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 1 SEWARDSTONE CLOSE

1 Sewardstone Close is a care home for up to 19 people. The people who use the service are people with an acquired brain injury and ongoing complex needs.

Enable Care provides specialist services for people who need support and assistance to lead rewarding lives. We offer residential, nursing and intermediate placements for people with complex needs as well as acquired brain injury and neurological conditions.

We provide services for people who have complex physical and nursing needs along with people who are cognitively impaired and require slow stream rehabilitation.

At Enable Care we believe that rehabilitation doesn’t have to be delivered in a clinical or hospital setting a long way from the support of family and loved ones. That’s why our vision is to provide unique, purpose built homes throughout the UK where residents have the support of expert staff to continue with their rehabilitation but still remain close to their family and friends.

Our ethos is one of independence, inclusion, participation and openness; to encourage people to try new things, work towards their goals and aspirations and to always strive to reach their own individual potential.

Through dedicated rehab and support, delivered in an innovative and engaging way, in an environment that is both positive and challenging we assist our residents to regain and maintain as many skills as is possible.

Our residents are supported to be as independent as possible in all aspects of daily life and participate in all areas of their care planning, physiotherapy, activity planning and other therapies as well as in the day to day running and growth of the unit itself.
