ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - ALLISON HOUSE
Introducing Allison House
Allison House is a residential nursing service provided in a homely environment. As with Kirkdale, it has high staffing levels to ensure that people’s needs are met quickly and appropriately. People are treated as individuals and are supported by a team of skilled and dedicated nurses and care support staff.
This too is a purpose-built service, designed to positively support those affected by Alzheimers and associated dementias with a lay-out which supports an individual’s ability to move about safely and independently, with many rest and relaxation areas.
People have their own individual bedrooms which can be personalised, as well as a range of comfortable lounges to relax in, meet with visitors, chat or enjoy activities.
A pathway is provided within Allison House, which means a person’s needs can continue to be met even if their condition deteriorates over time. Aspen provides an environment best suited to those who are less dependent whilst Willow offers a greater level of support for people who require additional care.
End of Life Care
Both teams within Clevearc’s residential services are experienced in caring for people as they come towards the end of their journey and provide high quality, appropriate and sympathetic end-of-life care and offer support for families at this difficult time. Both are accredited under the Gold Standard Framework.
Every member of staff, both within and outside the direct care teams, are trained in End of Life Care and understand the sensitive nature of providing care at this difficult time for people and their families.
We understand how important choice whilst providing End of Life Care, and a person and their families’ wishes are met and our caring and supportive staff can provide all the care required to make a person safe and comfortable in a familiar place for them.
