ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - SOMERSET CARE - PORTCULLIS HOUSE
Portcullis House is situated in the small town of Langport conveniently close to shops, the library, the local health centre, and the Post Office. The home is purpose built to enable easy access to all areas. We offer a high standard of 24-hour care in a comfortable environment.
We have created specially designed PETALS wings providing environments that support the person-centred approach to care.
Although each of our specially designed wings has its own identity and individual name, they all share the corporate dementia care philosophy and name 'Petals'. The name represents the key elements of dementia care within the company, namely: Person-centred; Empowerment; Trust; Activities; Life History; Stimulation.
