The Shelley is a small, independent, care home in Worthing, which is run professionally, responsibly and most importantly, with integrity and care.
Life at The Shelley is built around a philosophy of providing our residents and families with a truly person centred approach with a unique and bespoke approach to providing outstanding care that not only meets but exceeds expectations. The Shelley provides opportunities to remain active and independent, with the emphasis on wellbeing, personal choice, privacy and dignity where the smallest details are considered the things that matter.
We’re confident that the delightful choice of accommodation, luxurious facilities and 24-hour supportive care will exceed your individual needs now and in the future. Our unique focus is on creating a stimulating mix of activities to promote personal growth, enjoy new experiences, provide a sense of well being & calm. Activities include craft workshops, flower arranging, art classes, exercise classes, food & wine tasting, bridge afternoons, games & quizzes, shopping trips, regular outings in our specially adapted minibuses.
It’s not just because our home is beautifully designed, clean and spacious; nor is it because of our interesting, enjoyable activities and good food. It is because we are profoundly concerned with our residents’ welfare and happiness. This drives everything we do, and this is what makes us different.
