ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - BELVEDERE HOUSE
The Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society is a maritime charity which has provided nursing care and accommodation support to elderly, sick or disabled seafarers, their widows and dependants since 1865.
The Royal Alfred Seafarers’ Society’s purpose-built residence is situated within 14 acres of leafy Surrey countryside, with a full range of services available all on one site, including nursing care, respite care, accommodation and specialised dementia care. Retired seafarers from all over the UK come here for a ‘safe haven’ in sickness or old age and the home also welcomes people of a non-seafaring background.
The home offers a wide variety of activities and excursions for residents. These include regular games nights in the on-site licensed bar, fitness, music and reflexology sessions and canal boat trips.
