I would like to take this opportunity to say how much we as a family appreciate the team at Hill Lodge, particularly at this very difficult time, being unable to see our daughter is the hardest thing we have ever had to do, but thanks to the teams unstinting kindness and dedication she is coping far better than us.With the use of facetime we have had that vital link and has made a huge difference. The staff have been incredible and we do feel that they should be paid more and possibly appreciated more by the senior management, The house manager has been invaluable since her arrival and the house is far more stable with staff turnover hugely reduced and as such a happier environment which reflects massively on the clients.
As in all walks of life there are some staff who we feel are not quite so good and are less confident when they are on duty. Overall we could'nt be happier as she has really thrived and is happy, she always wants to go back after a home visit which is a true reflection on the house and staff. Moving to Hill Lodge was the best thing we've done and everyone in our family has benefitted. There is always room for improvement but by and large we are confident in the homes ability to maintain the health and welfare of our daughter.There have been instances where meds have been missed and in one case overdosed which has shaken our confidence but fortunately these occur rarely but nonetheless very disturbing."

ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - HILL LODGE
Hill Lodge opened in Bedhampton in November 2014, situated within beautiful grounds, Hill Lodge compromises of the main house and three exterior bungalows.
Hill Lodge has been well designed, offering a spacious, safe and warm environment; a place where our services users are happy to call their home. The main house includes 6 single occupancy bedrooms, a communal lounge and kitchen area, with a spacious sun room overlooking the gardens.
Within the grounds sits three fully equipped bungalows, each consisting of a modern kitchen and communal living area. Each bungalow has been designed to accommodate four service users each with their own bedroom and adjoining en suite.
We recognise that every one of our service users has their own individual needs which is why we ensure our staff are trained to the highest standards and are able to deliver care for a large spectrum of personal needs.
We pride ourselves in the quality that we deliver to our residents and our aim is to encourage all service users to become active and valued members within their home and the local community.
All of our homes are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and we are pleased to confirm that they are all fully compliant with the regulations.
