Allenbrook stood out straight away
I visited lots of homes to make sure I found the right place for my mother and Allenbrook was the one that stood out straight away. Since then I have never had any regrets about my choice, the home is always happy and relaxed and I know my mother is well cared for. My thanks to everyone at Allenbrook Nursing Home. Jane A

Special thanks especially for all the extra care she has needed over the last 6 weeks. We are very grateful & will all miss our visits to Fordingbridge, both to see Mum and all of you. Firstly can we say a very big thank you at Allenbrook Nursing Home for looking after Elsie. Your staff has been really caring, gentle and compassionate. We would use your Nursing Home again and have already recommended you to others. Although we are going to 'try' to look after Elsie at our home, I'm sure there will be times when we need some respite care and will be looking to use your establishment (subject of course to you having space) and if we find it all too much for us, we may well be looking for Elsie to come back to you full time. Again, very many thanks for all your kindness Anne

Many thanks for the fantastic care that you all gave to my Dad during his stay with you since up until he sadly passed away towards the end of 2012. We will really miss him as he was my Dad and a caring man, a great age 81! Many Thanks SF

Dear All It was just over two years ago that Mum came and made her home at Allenbrook Nursing Home. She had suffered a stroke and had spent a number of weeks first in Salisbury and then in Fordingbridge hospitals. Both my sister and I were there to welcome her and for us this was our first insight into the love and care that the whole team at Allenbrook showed towards her. Mum was a farmer's daughter, used to the freedom of the countryside and she found it very difficult to come to terms with her situation after the stroke and often felt frustrated that she could no longer do the things she loved to do, such as playing with her great grand-children, but through it all you cared for her so wonderfully and we her family will always be so grateful for that. Towards the end as mum got progressively weaker, you went that extra mile in making sure she was pain free and comfortable, so that when the time came she just peacefully slipped away. The whole family will forever remember with appreciation the kindness you showed to mum, as well as ourselves when we came to visit. Thank you hardly seems adequate but it is sincerely felt as we express our thanks for all your care and concern. Yours Faithfully Harold
