Calvert Trust Kielder has over 25 years of providing excellent, tailor-made, outdoor multi-activity residential breaks, adult respite care breaks and self-catering lodge holidays for people with disabilities, their family and friends. The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission for the regulated activity of 'accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care'. Nursing care is not provided. The respite accommodation is part of a larger complex used by other groups and individuals who also access communal dining and sitting facilities.
Situated in the spectacular Kielder Water & Forest Park, one of the UK's most beautiful areas, this location offer 27 glorious miles of shoreline, a magical environment full of wildlife, clean air and magnificent expansive horizons.
