Marlborough Court is a friendly and award winning 78 bedded care home in Thamesmead, London. This home provides nursing, residential dementia and residential care on 3 separate units.
It is actively involved with the local community and encourages visits from near by schools. It is child and pet friendly.
This home has improved and become forward thinking under Four Seasons Health Care.
Marlborough Court was one of the first homes in the country to sign up to the Department of Health's 'Dementia Pledge' initiative - both manager Maggie Candy and Deputy Sheilla Davies were invited to the launch of this in London November 2012.
The dynamic staff team won both the London region and also nationally as 'Best Care team' in the Great British Care Awards 2012/13.
The homne was also a national finalist in the 2012 National Care Awards - Care Innovation Catorgory.
