Broadlands is owned and operated by Greensleeves Homes Trust, a ‘not for profit’ charitable organisation providing care and accommodation for older people.
An award winning ‘home from home’ offering hotel style accommodation, Broadlands is situated in Lowestoft on the stunning Norfolk Broads, providing residential care to 47 older ladies and gentlemen.
On duty 24 hours a day, our dedicated multi-disciplined team, provide high quality care to meet individual resident’s requirements. Delivering the highest standards of care in a warm, safe environment is central to Broadlands’ philosophy. As part of the home’s commitment to best practice, Broadlands staff receive ongoing training in all aspects of care.
Accommodation is provided in 44 stylish ensuite bedrooms. The home’s ‘Broad View’ restaurant creates a real dining experience for our residents, with exceptional views across the Broads and a delicious menu, always on offer.
Leading down to the Broad’s, the home’s tranquil gardens provide the perfect backdrop to the spacious Edwardian house. The grounds have been fully adapted to provide easy wheel chair access enabling residents to simply sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery or indulge in a spot of gardening in one of the many raised flower and vegetable beds.
A regular programme of activities is organised with fun and engaging pursuits provided daily. We recognise that our residents have differing tastes and pleasures, and cater for each and every one as an individual. Our own transport offers trips and excursions on a regular basis according to our residents’ wishes.
Broadlands follows the Eden Alternative philosophy in the care of older people. All our residents’ views, choices and preferences contribute to the daily running of their home.
As an established home with an excellent reputation, Broadlands has strong links with the wider community.
