ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - 60 BULLPOND LANE
60 Bullpond Lane is a six bedded service for young adults with a learning disability. It is situated in Dunstable, close to St Albans and Milton Keynes.
Everyone is encouraged to lead an active life and access community based activities, such as hydrotherapy sessions, horse riding and college courses. The high level of staffing enables everyone to become involved in the daily running of the service; the kitchen has been designed to encourage individuals to help to prepare meals. Care plans are carefully tailored to promote choice, independence and the development of daily living skills.
The service has six bedrooms, all of which have en-suite facilities and are furnished to a high standard.
There are spacious communal areas including a large lounge, where many of the activities provided within the service take place, a dining room, a conservatory and a quiet room with soft lighting for relaxation. The service is surrounded by landscaped gardens.
