ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - QUEEN ELIZABETH HOUSE
Queen Elizabeth House provides specialist nursing care for those with epilepsy who also have associated and additional complications, including physical and learning disabilities, brain injury and autism. There is also 24 hour medical expertise within the home.
Accommodation is provided for 20 people in two single-storey linked units, that are light, airy and modern throughout and purpose built to allow manoeuvrability for wheelchair users. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms/wet rooms and are fitted with specialist equipment to meet individual need. They also have double doors opening on to individual patios and can be personalised upon request.
Our range of care and support services offers a unique blend of health and social care. We enable individuals with complex epilepsy to achieve their greatest possible independence and to enjoy a variety of activities in a safe and enabling environment.
