ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - WYCAR LEYS NOTTINGHAM
Wycar Leys - Nottingham is an autism service for people with a severe learning disabilities. It is located in the suburbs of Nottingham (NG6). It consists of two houses known as The Cottage and The Homestead.
The Cottage offers conisdered support for people that use alterntive communication methods such as objects of reference and symbols.
The Homestead has high levls of consistency to enable its residents to be reassured by predictable evenst in thier week.
Both are highly person centred, and each person has very bespoke a support plan and lifestyle.
The service has regulerly been commmended as providing high quality imput to the people it supports
