Welcome to Winton Care Home
Winton House Nursing Home is situated in the Hampshire village of Nether Wallop, where many a period drama has been filmed. It is set within 20 acres of formal gardens and parkland, through which the Wallop Brook flows.
There are 23 apartments within the Nursing Home itself, 4 of which are suitable for 2 people. Each room is unique with a variety of period features and many enjoy views of the extensive grounds. A qualified nursing staff is on duty 24 hours a day and residents can be seen by local doctors on a regular basis, or by the medical practitioner of their choice.
Rooms are fully carpeted and furnished with central heating, telephone and TV points plus 24-hour connection to domestic staff and nursing assistance. Domestic support ensures that all the household chores are taken care of, allowing you to enjoy fully the parkland surroundings.
Breakfast is brought to your own room each morning. Principal meals are served by waiting staff in one of our two dining rooms, or on warmer days, on the garden terrace that can be accessed from the spacious conservatory. If you prefer a little privacy on occasion, or are feeling under the weather, arrangements can be made so that you can also enjoy your main meal in the comfort of your own room.
A varied menu includes much local produce and special dietary requirements can be catered for. For those who enjoy a drink with their meal, Winton Nursing Home holds a residential license to serve alcoholic drinks.
Winton Nursing Home also offers specialist care for those suffering from more severe disabilities including Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.
Located within a separate wing of the House, with secure access and it’s own dining facilities, the unit provides care for up to 16 residents in 13 rooms.
