ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - WHITE LODGE
Situated close to Cannock town centre and only a few minutes walk from the beautiful Cannock Chase Area of outstanding Natural Beauty is White Lodge, a large seven bedroom property. White Lodge has been designed to cater for people with learning and physical disabilities who require a short break with specialised support facilities.
The property is very spacious with two living areas (one very sizeable) and a generous dining area which leads on to a fully fitted kitchen. It is equipped to provide en-suite accommodation if required. The property is very well located, with excellent road and rail access close by.
Everyone has their own person centred plan to ensure that they get the most out of their stay, for example working towards gaining increased independence and using local community leisure resources.
There is a wide range of different things to do in and around White Lodge. Users are encouraged to participate in all daily living activities to help develop their skills, for example, they can help with cooking tea or with washing up. Activities at White Lodge are very varied and are often lots of fun. Throughout the year there is always some form of theme at White Lodge ranging from a Hawaii themed night to celebrating St Patrick’s Day. The dining room is often decorated in the chosen theme of the month.
