ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - WESTBURY HOUSE
At Westbury House we support 12 individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. We have experience of supporting people with Down’s Syndrome, autism, schizophrenia, fragile X syndrome, depression and vascular dementia.
The home is situated in a quiet residential area in Deal, Kent. We promote independence and encourage development of skills through ongoing staff support. We have good relationships with outside support agencies and are involved in the local community.
We can support people with mobility and communication needs. Staff receive manual handling training and individualized communication training such as Makaton.
