ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - WAVERLEY LODGE CARE HOME


Waverley Lodge is a care home providing  accommodation for up to 45 residents requiring nursing, residential care and support older people with dementia nursing needs. Waverley Lodge Care Home is situated in a residential area of Lemington Newcastle upon tyne it has good bus links in to Newcastle City Centre and The Borough of Gateshead, both having excellent shopping centres.

Waverley Lodge is registered with Care Quality Commmission for the regulated Activities of Accomodation for people who require nursing or personal care, Diagnostic and Screening procedures and treatment of disease, disorder or injury.

We are more than just a nursing home, we strive to make it our residents home, a place where they can maintain their independance and personal freedom and live their lives with enjoyment and fullfillment.

We aim to treat all our residents as we would wish to be treated ourselves, we aim to provide person centered care and ensure that everybody has choice, privacy and that their dignity is respected.

FSHC have many years experienceof providing expert care to older and vulnerable people in a homely, family atmosphere. Everything is geared towards ensuring that our care homes residents are happy and our overall aim is to provide dedicated, personal care, tailored to individual needs. Providing full support to relatives including the opportunity to visit at any time. 

Waverley Lodge has just received FSHC Recognition Of Care And Kindness (ROCK) Award in October 2013.

We accept Local Authority funded clients, we also offer Respite Care.
