ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - WATERSIDE NURSING HOME
Waterside is located in the residential area of Tipton Village, a suburb of Dudley and situated alongside the canal. The home is conveniently within walking distance of the local shops and is easily accessible, being on the main bus route into the town.
As well as specialist nursing services, Waterside also provides expert care for those with Parkinson's disease, as well as convalescence, palliative care and respite. Our residents receive 24-hour individual support from dedicated carers. Each resident has a personal care plan, managed by a dedicated home manager. We can also organise occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy services through residents' GPs.
Key features of Waterside Nursing Home
The purpose-built home has been designed with its elderly residents in mind and offers a number of delightful communal areas in which to socialise and entertain guests. On warmer days the garden and patio area provide a perfect venue for residents to spend time or perhaps enjoy some afternoon tea. Friends and relatives are also welcome to visit any time, day or night, at the resident’s convenience.
Bedrooms
Bedrooms at Waterside are attractively decorated to a high standard and all have ensuite facilities. Each has a telephone and aerial point, thermostatic radiators, smoke detectors and a 24-hour call system to ensure complete comfort and safety.
Activities
At Waterside there’s always something enjoyable and stimulating to do. Every month there is a differently themed special event and the dedicated activity co-ordinator provides a variety of daily activities to suit all interests and levels of mobility, while encouraging the pursuit of personal hobbies.
