Located within a pleasant residential area in the heart of Washington Village, Washington Lodge Care Home is a purpose-built 62-bed facility offering high standards of kind and dignified care.
Washington Lodge provides 24-hour nursing dementia care for people living with dementia or related conditions, and nursing care for older people who have health needs and require either greater support than can be provided in their current home, or who are recovering from a significant health issue.
Care is provided by qualified and dedicated nursing teams in an environment specially adapted to each resident’s needs. Each resident receives a care plan which reflects their individual strengths, interests and physical and emotional abilities.
Chefs at Washington Lodge take pride in knowing the tastes of residents, and prepare a choice of delicious home-cooked, fresh and nutritional meals, as well as catering for any dietary and cultural needs.
Washington Lodge’s comfortable, attractive and well-equipped single rooms are all wheelchair friendly, have a nurse call system and are equipped with a sink and TV points. Some rooms have lovely views over the courtyard area, which is being transformed into a tranquil sensory garden. Residents have a choice of lounge areas featuring comfortable and specially designed furnishings.
Washington Lodge is benefiting from a rolling programme of refurbishment, which is being carried out sensitively to minimise any disturbance to residents.
