Tudor Rose is a lovely detached house in Alton, home to four young ladies with learning disabilities and specialised communication methods.
This home is only a short walk to Alton High Street offering great community access as well as being near a main bus route, in addition to the shared house vehicle.
The ladies who live at Tudor Rose are in their twenties and thirties, and enjoy busy lives, with various jobs, interests and social engagements.
They also access the activities provided by ILG, as well as independent activities chosen individually, which provide daily structure and promote independence.
The additional needs supported within this home include epilepsy, autism and communication difficulties.
Tudor Rose has a separate lounge, dining room and kitchen and a lovely garden with extensive views over Alton, which has been colourfully personalised and where pet rabbits are also kept.
Common interests of the ladies living at Tudor Rose include theatre trips, photography, college, horse riding and pottery.
Support staff at Tudor Rose are competent in using Makaton to enhanced levels, as communication is the key focus of the home and ensures an actively person centred environment.
