ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE WILLOWS
The Willows Care Home ia a purpose built, two storey care home providing accommodation for up to 60 people who require personal or nursing care. It is located in Shepshed, Leicestershire.a high standard of general nursing and residential care. We also provide respite and palliative care and care for younger disabled adults.
The Willows Care home is locatedin the historical town of Shepshed, Loughborough, close to local shops and other amenities including public transport. Loughborough town centre is only a short drive or bus ride away.
At The Willows Care Home we have an excellent working relationship with the partners from the local GP practice. We very much recognise the importance of personal, individual and resident focused care. To achieve this, good communication between all members of the care team, be they carers, relatives or doctors, is essential.
The Willows Care Home has spacious mature landscaped gardens and benefits from a secure patio area, sensory garden and comfortable seating area.
Accommodation is arranged over two floors, a passenger lift enables easr of access. Individual bedrooms are comfortable and some with en-suite facilities. They are well maintained and residents are encouraged to personalise their bedrooms and can bring some of their own furniture and choose colour schemes.
We have several dining areas where we provide freshly prepared ingerdients and nutritioanlly balanced menus. Protected meal times enure that residents can relax and enjoy their meals without interruption, however family and friends can be invited to dinner.
We also have the facilities to hold small events so residents can join in family celebrations.
Our focus is resident based, residents enjoy our pamper sesions, one to one attention, fun activities, day's out and are actively encouraged to continue their hobbies and interests.
We have a very caring team who work hard to make everyone feel at home.
