The Spinal Unit Action Group, know as 'Weld Road' is located in a residential area of Southport. Accommodation is provided for up to 12 people with a physical disability. The bedrooms are of suitable size to accommodate electrical equipment, such as wheelchairs and hoists. Public transport links to Southport and Liverpool are within easy reach. A variety of amenities are within a short distance, such as, shops, pubs, a bank, churches, newsagents, the beach and Birkdale village centre.
