The Park is a purpose-built care home that offers residential, nursing and physical disability care. The Park has a caring and supportive atmosphere and we deliver personalised care plans based on people’s choices, needs and wishes. Our staff provide the highest standard of care in a home-from-home environment where we focus on improving the health and wellbeing of every individual we support.
At The Park we provide a structured care programme in a warm, homely environment. We offer a range of therapeutic and leisure activities and support people to enrich their lives and maintain their independence. Care is tailored to the needs of each person and we develop a bespoke care programme in conjunction with each individual and their families.
Leisure and social activities are an important part of living at The Park. People are encouraged to take part in stimulating and engaging activities designed to boost their confidence and increase their independence. We offer a range of activities including musical entertainment, church services, anniversary events, fund raising events, trips into town, outings in and around the local area, clothes shows, monthly bingo and meals out with people from nearby nursing homes.
Meal times are an important part of the day at The Park. Our experienced catering staff prepare a varied menu of wholesome home cooked food every day. We have a daily change of menu and individual and special diets catered for. People are consulted about their favourite meals too. Room service available, and weather-permitting, meals can be eaten outside. Snacks are readily available day and night, while staff are always available to help residents with their meals and drinks. Visitors are welcome to join residents for meals.
