The Lawns is an excellent rated Care home situated in the pleasant area of Stoneygate, close to local shops and the nearby village of Oadby.

It is a purpose built home and furnished to a very high standard.

 The home provides residential care and caters for long and short term respite care.

 We pride ourselves in delivering ‘a person cantered holistic care plan approach’: every resident is a unique individual and we always ensure that we tailor not only our care plans but also social activities to ensure our residents’ lives continue to be rich and fulfilled with a care setting.

 Residents, and where appropriate their families, are involved as far as practical in the decisions regarding their care.  Emphasis on all aspects of care is the Manager’s primary concern and, together with the experienced team of qualified staff, all adhere to rigorous standards with internal audits and checks.

The Lawns has bight spacious lounges, one with a TV and one as a quiet lounge for relaxing in.

All the bedrooms have their own private facilities, most have views out onto the beautiful gardens.

The Chef serves a variety of nutritious home cooked food that residents enjoy. The residents can choose from a full a la carte menu with sherry served before lunch.

We have a library that residents can use where books are regularly changed to give residents variety and choice. 

A purpose built hairdressing salon is located on the ground floor where residents enjoy going to have their hair done by an experienced stylist who frequently visits the home.

The lawns offers a wide range of activities and outings with a dedicated Personal Activities Leader who strives to provide stimulating and interesting calendar of entertainment throughout the year.  Trips to the theatre, opera and Leicester Race course which is all in our local vicinity.
