ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE HORNCHURCH NURSING CENTRE
The Hornchurch is a purpose-built home which has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme overseen by Bupa's interior design consultant. The home sits in a quiet residential area, in the London Borough of Havering.
The care we offer We offer nursing, residential care and specialist nursing dementia care. We also provide convalescent care and care for those who have palliative needs. We can offer short term respite along with rehabilitation support.
Key features of The Hornchurch Having been specifically designed as a home to provide nursing care for the elderly and for those with dementia, the facilities at The Hornchurch are ideally suited to the needs of our residents. Reminiscence pictures feature on the walls of the specialist dementia area of the home.
There are three lounges all with 42-inch flat screen televisions, in which residents can relax, catch up with friends or entertain visitors. The pretty garden now offers brand new garden furniture, as does the new patio area to the front of the home which residents can enjoy on a sunny day.
Bedrooms All bedrooms at The Hornchurch have been refurbished with new soft furnishings and each boasts a new flat screen TV. Residents are encouraged to bring some of their own possessions to help personalise their space. All rooms have ensuite facilities for privacy and convenience. We are always safety conscious and bedrooms are equipped with smoke detectors and 24-hour call systems as standard.
