ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - THE FEARNES
The Fearnes was purpose built as a care home by Bournemouth Borough Council. The home was managed by the Council until it was leased to the provider in 1991. The Fearnes can accommodate up to 40 people and is divided into three separate group living units. It does not provide nursing care. The home provides a specialist service for older people with enduring and age related mental health problems such as dementia.
