ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - SUNDERLAND SHARED LIVES
Sunderland Shared Lives is an adult placement scheme. The scheme oversees carers who provide care and support to adults who have learning disabilities. The philosophy of the Sunderland Shared Lives Scheme is to support people to live in an ordinary home and be treated as part of the family. Care is offered to the people on a long term basis. The Care Quality Commission regulates only the personal care element of the service.
