The aim of the Summer Fields Care Home is to provide a warm, happy and secure environment within which the privacy and independence of our residents is respected.

Summer Fields is registered as a 50 bed residential home, offering long term emi residential care, respite, day care and short term stays. The home is registered to care for people on a emi residential basis as well as for people with milder form of dementia.

The home normally accommodates residents on a long term basis, although some residents may be accepted short term or for holiday stays. The range of accommodation consists of 49 single spacious en-suite bedrooms and 1 room with a double occupancy. All rooms also have a modern emergency nurse call system.
Location
Summer Fields is situated in a quiet, well established residential area of Rock Ferry, near Birkenhead in the Wirral.
Visiting
Family members and friends are welcome to visit as and when they wish. Drinks and snacks are always available and we are happy to provide meals for visitors by prior arrangement.
Home and Grounds
There are several communal areas, including terraced areas and ramped access permits easy access to landscaped gardens, where residents can enjoy afternoon tea. The activities room and communal lounges host a variety of activities such as reminiscence therapy and poetry.
Summer Fields also have a hydraulically operated bath which provides comfortable bathing facilities where residents can enjoy a Jacuzzi or foot spa while allowing safe and easy access, free from hoists.
