ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - STONEDALE LODGE RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOME
Stonedale Lodge is a purpose-built home in Croxteth, a residential area of Liverpool. It is conveniently located on a bus route, with both shops and a park within walking distance.
The care we offer
Stonedale Lodge offers the excellent standard of care that you’d expect from a Bupa home. We provide residential and nursing care, residential dementia and nursing dementia care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. We also offer specialist care for those with Parkinson’s disease.
All our care staff are trained in care essentials - some to NVQ levels two and three. Our registered nurses are included in an ongoing development programme.
Activities
Whatever our residents’ interests or levels of ability, our activity co-ordinators ensure that there’s always something enjoyable for everyone to do each day. Daily activities might include table-top games, reminiscence quizzes, bingo, or a walk around the grounds.
We have on-site hairdressing, visits from local entertainers, and frequent outings to places such as Chester, the Maritime Museum and the safari park. Pub lunches and barge trips are also popular.
As part of our Big 12 calendar of events, we organise a series of themed, monthly activities. These might include seasonal social events such as Pancake Day, a Garden Party, and Bonfire Night.
