ABOUT LOCAL CARE HOME - STANBOROUGH LODGE
Stanborough Lodge became the third Care Home owned by RMD Enterprises Ltd. in August 2000, and was the first of our Care Homes to be registered for Dementia Care. Our staff at Stanborough Lodge understand that elderly residents with Dementia need to be made to feel respected for who they are today as well as who they were in the past. It’s especially important to treat Dementia clients with courtesy as they can have a very delicate sense of self-esteem.
Stanborough Lodge stands in three-quarters of an acre of mature trees and shrubs overlooking beautiful open farmland. Located just off the A1(M), Stanborough Lodge is close to the picturesque Stanborough lakes and excellent modern shopping facilities at Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield’s ‘Galleria’. We have a mix of male and female residents, with ages ranging from to 75 to 96. Our first class residential home aims to provide a high standard of personal 24hr care in a comfortable and secure environment. Our residents are encouraged to lead independent lives with as much choice as possible. However, our experienced staff are always on call to give personal assistance whenever required.
We encourage our residents to maintain any existing hobbies and interests. We also provide in-house activities and games along with visits from local churches of all denominations. We organise outings and shopping trips for our residents which their families are regularly invited to join in with. We also have musical entertainers visit the Home on a regular basis. We are always welcome to visitors, so why not give us a call and drop by for a viewing.
